Karina Desroses- DECA President
My name is Karina Desroses and I am the 2008-2009 DECA Chapter President. I've been in the DECA program for 3 years. I am a senior at TJ and I am looking forward to going to college. I am in other clubs at school including Interact, Student Council, and the CHEESE CLUB. I'm a cheerleader and I run track. My hobbies include dancing, singing, sleeping, reading, and hanging out with friends. My favorite colors are blue and green.

Michael M. Davis II- DECA Vice President
My name is Michael M. Davis II. I am the 2008-2009 TJ DECA Vice President. I am 18 years old and my birthday is December 7th. My hobbies are playing the piano, studying the bible, helping people, singing gospel music, and singing and dancing to the Jackson 5 and Earth, Wind, and Fire. I am the President of the King Baptist Church Youth Department. When I have time to myself I often think about what I can do to be a better person, friend, and leader. Last but not least, when I get frustrated, I listen to gospel music and pray.

Ana Chauca-Diaz- DECA Secretary
I’m Ana Chauca-Diaz and I’m a senior at TJ. I’m Secretary for the TJ DECA Officer Team. I am also President of the Interact Club and Secretary for All-School Student Council. I enjoy writing and photography. I plan to go to CU Denver and Study Forensic Science or Biochemistry.

Paige Wilson- DECA Treasurer
Hi. My name is Paige Wilson. There are a few fun facts about me. I am a junior here at TJ. I play varsity volleyball and I am on the varsity team for track. My sister also attends TJ and is a senior this year. I also have an older brother who graduated last year. My favorite colors are green and light purple. I am the Treasurer on the DECA officer team. I am also on the yearbook staff. I have 3 AP classes and the rest are X classes except for my electives. My birthday is 4th of October. My favorite movie is the Pursuit of Happiness. My favorite TV show was/is Smart Guy!

Alex Clark- DECA Publicity Director
I’m Alex Clark and I’m a junior at TJ. I’m the Publicity Director for the TJ DECA Officer Team. I play tennis for TJ during the spring. I enjoy reading, listening to music, and printing.

Tommy Moehlman- DECA Travel Coordinator
My name is Tommy Moehlman and I am the 2008-2009 Thomas Jefferson DECA Travel Coordinator. At TJ I am on the varsity soccer team and in the spring I will play baseball, I am the junior class vice president and I am a member of the national honor society. I compete in the Travel and Tourism Team at DECA competitions. My favorite thing to do is play sports, especially soccer.

Matthew Kleberger- DECA School Store Rep.
Hi, my name is Matt Kleberger. I’m a junior here at TJ. I am the 2008-2009 DECA School Store Officer. This is my second year in DECA and I have had the honor of competing at the district competition and the Colorado DECA Conference at the Broadmoor Hotel. This year I plan on going back to state and staging in my event.

Krystal Joy Kelley- DECA Chapter Rep.
I was born September 18, 1990. My favorite color is green. I am a senior here at TJ and I also run track for TJ. My favorite teacher here at TJ is Ms. Colbath. I have 3 brothers and 3 sisters; also I have 3 nieces and 1 nephew. I plan to go to Ganzaqa University in Washington State. My favorite hobby is watching movies, my favorite movie is Remember the Titans.  

Alex Gustafson- DECA Chapter Rep.
My name is Alex Gustafson, I’m 17 old, and I am junior here at Thomas Jefferson, this is my first year as a DECA officer. On the officer team I am the Chapter Representative, which is a fun job.  Last year I went to state and it was amazing. Other than DECA I’m involved in Student Council, yearbook, and the Spartan Edition. I also play a handful of sports including gymnastics, swimming, diving, and soccer. Outside of school I do what any normal teenagers does: hang out with friends, sleep and watch TV. When I’m not being a normal teenager I go to physical therapy and go to work at soccer stop. I see this year being a very successful one and hopefully most of our chapter will go to state and on to nationals.
